What is Alex TriVantage?
The Alex TriVantage dual wavelength laser is the latest in pigment removal technology. Highly customizable and safe for all skin tones, it uses both 755 nm and 1064 YAG lasers to address any number of pigmentation concerns, including:

How Does Alex TriVantage Work?
The Alex TriVantage is a triple wavelength laser that is fully customizable to meet your specific needs. This allows our expert providers at Skin & Beauty Center to specifically target your skin concerns without damaging surrounding tissue.
Alex TriVantage’s wavelength technology uses highly targeted wavelengths to break up undesired pigments in the skin. Your body will then naturally flush out, leaving behind clear, even skin.
As with other laser pigment removal treatments, Alex TriVantage works best on pigments that are significantly different from the surrounding tissues. However, because of its cutting edge triple wavelength technology, we can target a wider range of pigments, including blue and green tones that other devices can’t remove.
You don’t have to be stuck with the bruise-like remnants of an old tattoo or fear scars and discoloration with the Alex TriVantage system and our pigment removal experts. How Many Sessions Do I Need to Remove My Tattoo?
The number of sessions you need depends on a few different factors, including your skin tone, the depth of the pigment being removed, and the size of the treatment area. Smaller, more faded tattoos will take fewer sessions to achieve optimal results than larger, more vibrant pieces.
However, because Alex TriVantage features the ultra-precise triple wavelength laser technology, most patients will still see better results more quickly than with other laser tattoo removal treatments.
During your initial consultation, our laser treatment experts will examine your skin and the tattoo to help develop a treatment regimen for you. Typically we suggest at least 6 weeks between sessions to allow your skin to fully heal and prevent undue damage. We will discuss your exact schedule of treatments, aftercare instructions, and other details before your first session.
Is Alex TriVantage Safe?
Alex TriVantage is FDA-approved for treatment of most pigmented lesions, including tattoos and hyperpigmentation. It is among the safest laser skin treatments available today because of its ability to target only the desired pigments, leaving the rest of your skin unaffected.
Like all laser pigment treatments, there is some risk of temporary discoloration or redness at the treatment site. This usually clears up on its own within a few days without the need for additional care. However, it is important to follow any and all aftercare instructions given by your provider to ensure you get the best possible results.
In some cases, Alex Trivantage may not be recommended to treat your discoloration or tattoo. Some conditions which may disqualify you from use include:
- Pregnancy
- Recent tanning, including use of self-tanners
- Light-sensitive epilepsy or other seizure disorder
- Active skin infections or cold sores
- Having a pacemaker
- History of allergic reaction to strong light
