Dr. Justine Park is a leading, board-certified dermatologist. She specializes in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Park emphasizes empathy and one-on-one patient care, as well as educating patients about their skin conditions.
Dr. Park received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley before earning her medical degree from the University of Southern California (USC), where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and where she remains a lifetime member. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at White Memorial Medical Center before completing her residency in Dermatology at Martin Luther King-Drew Medical Center, ultimately serving as Chief Resident. During residency, she learned innovative techniques for keloid treatment, split ear lobe repair, and treatment of pigmentation disorders including melasma and vitiligo in patients with ethnic skin, under the renowned Dr. A. Paul Kelly.During residency, Dr. Park developed an interest in Pediatric Dermatology and rotated at Rady’s Children Hospital San Diego in to learn under Dr. Larry Eichenfield and other experts in the field. She later earned a scholarship with the Society of Pediatric Dermatology to learn vascular lesion laser treatments under Dr. Bari Cunningham. She continues to volunteer her time as a Clinical Professor at USC at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
After residency, Dr. Park became an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at USC and went on to serve as the Director of Pediatric Dermatology at CHLA for five years before embarking on her journey to become part owner of Glendale Dermatology. She has also co-written a chapter on “Disorders of Hypopigmentation” in the textbook Dermatology in Ethnic Skin by A. Paul Kelly, MD.
In private practice, Dr. Park has continued to build upon her interest in cosmetic treatments ranging from Botox and filler injections to laser treatments and sclerotherapy. She understands that patients want to look natural and they want to look their best. She continues to train on innovative techniques such as using a cannula for a painless treatment of undereye circles without bruising or downtime, using Botox and resurfacing lasers for a non-surgical brow lift, and using laser and fillers to treat aging hands, knees, and acne scars.
Dr. Park is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology.
When she is not working, she enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
