Payam Saadat, MD

Dr_Payam_SaadatDr. Saadat attended USC Keck School of Medicine for medical school where he graduated with highest distinction (for excellence throughout the four years of medical school). He then spent a year at the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center training in internal medicine before returning to USC for dermatology training. At USC, Dr. Saadat developed a passion for educating young physicians and students which led to his appointment as dermatology course coordinator. Later, he had the honor of serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Saadat’s extensive teaching experience carries over into his patient care, making him more sympathetic and patient. His patients have the advantage of being taken care of by someone who taught/teaches others how to take care of their patients.

Unlike the many non-dermatologists that perform cosmetic procedures, Dr. Saadat is a Board Certified Dermatologist. A Board Certified physician means that he has extensive training in all the procedures he performs. Unfortunately, some doctors who are not specialists use techniques that are outdated and they really don’t know what to do when they run into problems. At SBC, we often care for patients who had Botox, fillers, and/or procedures performed elsewhere and come to us to fix other physician’s mistake. For this reason its important to have your procedure done by a board certified dermatologist.

As a Professor of dermatology, Dr. Saadat, spends a considerable amount of time teaching residents and students and speaks at national and international conferences on a regular basis. He is always up to date with the most advanced techniques and medical literature. As such, he offers his patients the latest treatments, procedures, technologies and techniques.
