Kristen has been a certified physician assistant since 2001, and has been practicing in the field of dermatology since 2003. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the California State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the California Association of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a Physician Assistant in dermatology, Kristen has received specialized training in both the medical and cosmetic disciplines of dermatology. She continues to learn and stay up to date on the newest medical technologies and breakthroughs by attending continuing medical education programs and conferences, and journal reading. She is licensed and qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological exam, diagnose, treat, and prescribe the appropriate medical therapy for skin-related issues. With her extensive training in the cosmetic arena, she excels at performing various laser skin treatments and injectables. She strives to help each patient look and feel his or her best.
While not working, Kristen loves spending time with her husband, two kids and dogs. She enjoys hiking, waterskiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, dancing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
