Does Kybella® work for men?

What is Kybella® and how does it work?

Kybella® is a new injectable treatment that is used to improve the appearance of a double chin. Kybella® works by breaking down fat cells, which are then flushed out of the body by the lymphatic system. The active ingredient used in Kybella® injections is synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a natural substance that helps to break down and absorb dietary fat. Injections of Kybella® are typically given every four to six weeks, and most patients see noticeable results after two to four treatments.

Does Kybella® work for men?

Absolutely! Many men who have a double chin regardless of their weight can find a solution with Kybella® injections. During an initial consultation with our clinicians, you can have a full evaluation performed to determine if you are an appropriate candidate. The best candidates for Kybella® are patients who:

• Have submental fullness (excess fat beneath the chin)
• Are bothered by the appearance of a double chin
• Are seeking a non-surgical solution
• Are in good health overall and do not have any medical conditions that may affect healing or increase risk during treatment
